Scorpio Music
Scorpio Music is a family owned independent record label founded in Paris in 1976. With a 50-year track record of global hits, the label has moved from disco classics to modern dance and electronic music while staying independent and family-run across two generations. Founded by Henri Belolo after a career as an A&R and General Manager at Polygram, Scorpio Music marked a turning point in his musical journey. Henri went on to co-create and co-produce globally celebrated acts including the Village People, the Ritchie Family, and Break Machine, selling over 100 million records along the way. Today, the label is run by his son Anthony Belolo, who fiercely embodies Scorpio's core values: trust, transparency, and a deep love of all creative people. Under his lead, Scorpio Music is as strong as ever, with a family-like setup that gives every artist personalized attention, backed by the resources and reach of a major label. That approach shows in the results. Since 2011, the label has built an impressive roster of artists including Martin Garrix, Showtek, Armin van Buuren, Deorro, and Hardwell. And it's reflected in the success of Willy William, who landed his first global hit within four months of signing to Scorpio Music. As the music industry has evolved, so has Scorpio. While staying true to its core expertise as a world-class record label and publisher, the label has stayed ahead of the digital curve, growing into a genuine online icon: its YouTube channel has drawn more than 2.7 million subscribers and over 1.9 billion unique views. Fifty years on, Scorpio Music is still doing what it has always done best: finding great artists, and giving them the trust and space to become who they're meant to be.

Scorpio Music releases forward thinking electronic and dance music alongside globally accessible pop and crossover records. With five decades of experience, our catalogue spans genres, generations and cultures, always driven by strong artists, distinctive records and international potential. Today, we focus on music with a clear identity and global reach, working across singles, EPs and albums while continuing to evolve with the artists and sounds shaping the culture.
We are independent by nature, but global in ambition. Scorpio Music combines the personal approach of an independent label with the resources, expertise and reach of a major. We work closely with our artists and creative partners, building relationships based on trust, transparency and long term commitment. Every artist is different, so we do not believe in a one size fits all approach. We give the right projects the attention, expertise and space they need to grow, while bringing decades of experience across A&R, marketing, digital, distribution, publishing and international development.
We look for artists, songwriters and records that make us stop and listen.
Originality matters. So does instinct, personality and a strong sense of identity. We are interested in music that feels distinctive rather than simply following what is already working.
For producers submitting demos, the best place to start is our catalogue and playlists. They give you a sense of the music we are currently releasing, supporting and listening to.
We are looking for great music first, and artists with the potential to build something lasting around it.
